The Preliminary DFI 3.0 Specification which extends support to DDR4 memory will be available for download next week. This update does not add more information about 1:4 frequency support; however if there are specific questions - please let me know.
Permalink Reply by John MacLaren on September 22, 2011 at 11:40am Hey Arvind,
Sorry that you had issues downloading the Preliminary DFI 3.0 Specification. The specification is a ZIP file containing the current DFI 2.1 Specification and the Preliminary DFI 3.0 Addendum. Unfortunately the original file name for the Addendum was too long for some versions of OS/ZIP utility. I have shortened the name and verified that the issue seems to be resolved. Please try downloading again.
Thanks...JOHN
Permalink Reply by Magnus Hjorth on October 24, 2011 at 6:03am Hi! I'm unable to download the 3.0 pre specification, have tried several times now. I get the license email but nothing else happens, I'm just returned again to the form without receiving any file. Using Firefox under Linux (Ubuntu 10.04). Can anyone help?
Permalink Reply by John MacLaren on October 24, 2011 at 7:20am Hi Magnus,
I am sorry to hear you had difficulty downloading the Specification using Firefox with Linux. I also use Firefox (not with Linux) and have not had any difficulty. I will file a ticket with the website support to see if they can determine the issue. In the meantime, if you will send me an email with the confirmation of the license agreement (email the website sent to you), I will email you back a copy of the specification.
Thanks...JOHN
